NEW COUNCIL STAFF
Meet Matthew Reineck, District Executive for Wood District. Matthew Reineck is a fall 2007 graduate of Western Michigan University where his primary focus was Recreation. While attending WMU, he was active in the Scouting Service Fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Matt grew up in Blissfield, Michigan where he advanced through the Scouting program with Troop 8. He received the prestigious Eagle Scout Award in 2001 and his Vigil Honor, through Order of the Arrow, in 2002. Matt has also gone through the ranks of summer camp staff at Camp Frontier, starting as a Counselor In Training in 2000 and currently as the Program Director for the summer of 2008.
Matt is very excited to be working with the Scouts and volunteers within Wood District, as well as Erie Shores Council. Scouting has taught Matt leadership, survival, and preparation skills that will last a lifetime and he is looking forward to providing a equally rewarding experience for current and future Scouts of Wood District.
