2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the Venturing Program. In order to celebrate the CR-4 Venturing Officers Association has designated two events as Area-wide celebrations:

• Sea Scout Rendezvous: August 15-17, Alum Creek
• Area 4 Venturing Camporee: October 17-19, Camp Birth, Yellow Springs Ohio (south of Springfield), Tecumseh Council.
